Circle of Security – inclusive education program, based on attachment theory is the program aimed at supporting teachers from the six partner schools to better understand students’ behaviors and possible causes, so that they can learn how to respond to them, so that the students feel safe and willing to learn through exploration. The program helps teachers change the lens through which they look at students. Instead of seeing a problematical learnt behavior (hostile, upset, aggressive or isolated), they understand an unfulfilled relational need: the child was constantly rejected and developed certain emotional survival patterns.
