About “Inclusion means learning for everyone”
The aim of the project is to increase the institutional capacity of 6 rural schools in Transylvania, where over 20% of the students are Roma children, to ensure an inclusive education, and the learning progress of each child.
Working together for an inclusive Europe
Objectives
01.
To develop the ability of the school management team to assume a vision of inclusion, shared with Roma and non-Roma parents, and to adopt inclusive practices to ensure the learning progress of each child
02.
To develop the ability of 90 teachers in 6 schools to offer learning contexts which ensure inclusive learning and an increased learning relevance for all children
03.
To develop the ability of schools (management, teachers, counselors) to initiate and support activities which help actively involve parents in the school life, so that they can support inclusive education together.
Our approach
The project aims for a 360-degrees approach of inclusion, working with the 3 microsystems which affect the child: the class, the school and the community. The project activities address: teachers, parents/tutors, students, school management – representatives of the administration councilors, of the parents committees.
